Work with us

Thank you for your interest in joining Wroughton Academies, comprising Wroughton Infant Academy and Wroughton Junior Academy.

Our mission is clear: through the highest expectations, we ensure that children have the knowledge, understanding and skills to be confident and successful. We are committed to providing an exceptional education for every pupil, supported by a culture where staff are valued, developed and empowered to make a difference.

Serving children aged 3 to 11, our closely connected academies have been at the heart of the local community for generations. Set on a spacious and well-resourced site, we offer an inclusive and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to achieve excellence through the development of knowledge, skills and confidence.

We are proud of our ambitious curriculum. Reading sits at the heart of school life, supported by the Read Write Inc programme, our Steps to Read curriculum, a well-stocked library and a strong culture of reading for pleasure. Alongside this, we deliver a carefully sequenced mathematics curriculum and a broad, knowledge-rich curriculum that enables children to develop a deep understanding of the world around them.

As a member of staff, you will join a large, friendly and dedicated team that is passionate about giving every child the very best start in life. Collaboration, professional learning and continuous improvement are central to our culture, and we invest heavily in staff development through high-quality training, coaching and leadership opportunities.

As part of Creative Education Trust, colleagues benefit from the opportunities of a national family of schools while remaining rooted in the community they serve. Through Trust-wide professional development, leadership programmes and career pathways, staff can develop their expertise and progress their careers at every stage. Colleagues also have access to a comprehensive benefits package that supports wellbeing, financial security and work-life balance.

Whether you are beginning your career in education or looking for your next challenge, Wroughton Academies offer the opportunity to work with talented colleagues, contribute to an ambitious school community and make a lasting difference to the lives of young people.

We look forward to receiving your application.
